Default Debt past statute, credit score good, file bankruptcy?

Paid bankruptcy attorney in 2010 for $38,000 debt.

Never filed and paid off student loans.

Recently renewed effort and found all adverse debt off my credit report and score in the 700's.

A collection agency owns some of the debt.

All the debt is legally past the statute of limitations.

Should I file the bankruptcy that will go on my report and bring down my credit score?

Maybe better to leave it?
