Default Market Analysis

USD/JPY remained on soft plate note so far this week taking, it has pulled up slightly with the speech by Yellen, but still remains at low levels, itís likely to pick up more before close of the week, but it might not be huge nevertheless, itís good chance for buy.

EUR/JPY went extremely low yesterday on the uncertainties over political happening, but it has recovered well, so won’t be bad time to enter into sell now with the levels high, as there is every chance of dropping to come ahead.

EUR/USD this week was in really good stats for buy with NFP playing key role, it has pushed Dollar down and opened the gates for buy trade here, it is likely to hold same way during the start of the week, but with Rate Hike ahead, and it could all turn sharply.

GBP/USD has remained steady on lower side in last couple of days; it is highly likely that we are going to see this continue as we move ahead. All eyes are going to be on Rate Hike which could push it inside 1.20 or might pull it towards 1.25 mark again, it’s all interesting to watch.

The week got off at 111.07 and ended at 108.63, losing around 250 pips. Economic data release did not mean much though it was mostly mixed from the USA. Comments from Trump of the need to have lower USD strength did not help the cause. Moving forward the coming weeks would tell where the price is heading as there are large uncertainties on various fronts like geo-political, election in France, fiscal policies of USA, etc. which might drag the pair further down.

The week closed at 0.7577 from the start at 0.7492 with the high reaching 0.7596 and the low of 0.7473. It was a week of heightened geo-political risks with a looming and full blown out war in Syria and North Korea which dampened the investors’ confidence and the financial markets were roiled and still awaiting concrete developments on the same. Such conditions are not good for financial markets and in general for even humanity.

A nearly 2% loss(1.84% to be exact) is not a good sign for this pair what with USD taking the beating amidst all the happenings in the financial markets, politics and geo-politics. Such high uncertainty produces high volatile which makes trading quite difficult unless being best prepared! So traders are going to be cautious enough when they come back to trading desks next week with nothing much lined up!

The high of the week was 0.7447 and the low was 0.7386 which was also the opening price for the week, which means the price never went down below the opening price and had only upside move, pretty impressive one must say! AUD had everything going right for it and the USD everything wrong. What happens in the coming week nobody really knows but the traders would be surely alert coming after a volatile week!

Another high event & volatile week has ended and with that we are left with nothing for the remainder of the month and can only expect some sideways trading at the best and taking clues from other markets too. JPY is a safe-haven currency and this pair also mirrors the stock markets so the upside might not be too strong in the near future unless there are highly improved conditions.

The pair opened the week at 0.7530 and ended at 0.7621 with a healthy lead of around 1.20% which is very spectacular. If the pair can maintain such bullish bias then there are more chances of it reaching the psychological 0.8000 barrier from which it can try to go even higher further or simply fall back towards the 0.7500 or even 0.7000 areas in the year end.

Great market analysis, thanks for the share mate! I've been trading EURUSD only for the past 3 months. It now trades at the key resistance and I am expecting a downfal to the 1.10500 area. Any thoughts?

With ECB meet and inflation data from Eurozone next week and some second tier data from USA, one can expect much action. Traders would be looking at the further plan of ECB which could move the Euro in either side. With light data from USA it should be Euro based moves next week with this pair. So going to be another busy week for the traders going almost into the month end!
