Default Any Golfers?

I'm a pretty avid golfer. I like to play and to watch it on TV. Does anyone else on these forums play much golf?

I like playing golf as well. What is your handicap? I always try to play once or twice a week.

Nah I'm not a fan of golf...I've only tried out mini golf...other than that golf is boring to watch from my perspective...or in my opinion.

My husband went a played golf for the first time in a long while. He was gone all day to play 18 holes. Obviously he didn't do to hot. But he enjoyed himself so I guess that's all that counts.

Yes, I golf, if you call it that anyways. I call it "golf ball search and rescue."

What I enjoy most out of playing golf is simply the ability to relax and enjoy the company of whomever I'm with. I also enjoy nature and being out on some beautiful courses.

People who take golf (and sometimes life) too seriously may not enjoy it.

Another advantage to playing golf with someone is that you learn how they handle adversity and many other challenging situations. If someone was interviewing with me for a job, I might take them out to play some golf. You'd be amazed how much you can learn about someone.

You should play sometime with your husband. My wife plays golf and she is much better than I, yet we've never played together, other than going to the driving range. We're planning on it, though, as soon as possible!

I like that you call golf "golf ball search and rescue". That would be exactly what I would be doing the majority of the time. I have told my husband that I will give it a try sometime this summer.

Love my golf Finance Guy

My wife thinks it would be more exciting to watch Paint dry. But I sat and watched every minute of the US Open.

Now a herd of Elk on the course would sure make playing golf interesting. I like the analogy to watching paint dry on the wall.

Keys on The Green, Evergreen Colorado,,, usually on the back 9 if you play early in the morning, or evening your chances of bouncing one off their backs is GOOD,,,, puts a damper on your handicap can't beat the scenery, went to Breckinridge this morning, only played 9 there was a little crowded for a mountain course,, guess people have off for the 4th week....
