looking for the best investments

I'm tired of the stock market volatility and looking for alternative investments. Anyone have any ideas or success outside of the stock market?

Gold is the best Investment. The important commondity for investment. The price for gold depends mainly on the demand in your country. Gold prices can also decline drastically or incrase all on a sudden. They are not as risky as investing in the stock market.

When has gold ever been so volatile up ~or~ down?
From my understanding, the price of gold is a standard around the world and does not vary from country to country.

I ~have~ heard otherwise but when I asked nobody could verify it.
If you know of any information that shows gold values being different from one country to the next, please tell me.

I wouldn't get out of stocks. The volatility will settle once consumer and investor confidence grows, as it is already doing. Invest in large-cap dividend paying stocks, and stay away from individual bonds. Nothing fancy, just DOW stocks and proven S&P companies with a track record of decent dividend and healthy fundamentals. :D

If you're looking for a regular income from your investment then this will influence your choice of product. There are investment products available that can also provide a regular income such as annuities, or corporate bond funds, alternatively you could choose to invest in a buy-to-let property to provide you with a rental income.

You can look for an ETF or mutual fund with a market neutral strategy. they have usually a small correlation with the market.

I am not sure this is the right place though. You do not want to take advice on investment from the guys in a chat room or forum. Investments or finances information is something you need to take time to find and absorb. Be careful.
